Permeation of K+ ions through KCNQ1 according to spontaneous S0 mechanism. A short (43 ns) simulation at 5 mM K+o conditions showing the spontaneous release of K+ from S0 site at S3-S2-S0 occupancy configuration of the SF. Representations of the K+, Na+, and Cl− ions as well as the lipid molecules are identical to those shown in Video 1.
