Surface-reconstructed intravital two-photon live imaging of an escaping T cell in vivo. Related to Fig. 1. EAE was induced in CX3CR1^GFP (green CX3CR1⁺ cells) mice via the passive transfer of B6.2D2.RFP.Th17 cells (red). The engulfment and escape of a T cell was followed over time (10 min) in n = 12 mice from three different experiments. Shown here is the original GFP (myeloid cells) and RFP (Th17 cells) 3D image sequence (smoothened and 3D cropped to show a stable contact using Imaris) as well as the 3D-reconstructed version (Imaris).
