Decreasing calcium in response to the HepII domain of fibronectin (FnIII12–15) . wt fibroblasts expressing the ratiometic Twitch-1 calcium sensor, imaged in FRET mode, and seeded on the central integrin-binding domain of fibronectin (FnIII6–10). HepII domain of fibronectin was added at 28 min (see also Fig. 1, I–K). Cells were imaged on the DeltaVision platform as described in In vitro calcium imaging. Images were collected in 10-min intervals during a 2.25-h period. Note the calcium levels decrease in response to the HepII domain of fibronectin. Bar, 30 µm.
