PC3 cells spread on vascular lung ECs in vivo. PC3 cells expressing YFP (yellow) were transfected with a control siRNA. Cells were injected in the tail vein in SCID mice. After 6 h, a PECAM-1 antibody was injected in the vena cava to stain blood vessels, then the lungs were isolated, inflated with air, and analyzed by confocal microscopy using a confocal microscope (LSM710; Carl Zeiss) with a 20× objective lens. 3D images were processed using Amira software.
