DE-cadherin is recruited to single-cell wounds. Dynamics of DE-cadherin-GFP and actin (sChMCA) during cell wound healing. Actin and cadherin colocalize at the wound edge. Particles of DE-cadherin are visible beneath the wound area. Images were acquired using a spinning disk confocal system (PerkinElmer) on an inverted microscope (TE2000-E; Nikon). Frames were captured at 45-s intervals for 3 min followed by 1-min intervals for 30 min. Bar, 20 µm.
