Maximum intensity z projections of myosin-GFP in Drosophila embryos where a laser incision was made in the myosin II meshwork. The white bars in the first frame illustrate the location of the incision made in each embryo. Images were analyzed by time-lapse confocal microscopy using a spinning-disk confocal microscope (Ultraview; PerkinElmer). Image stacks were taken every 3 s.
