Video 1.

Ubq–Ana3-GFP localizes to centrosomes throughout the cell cycle in embryos and does not induce centriole overduplication. Part of a syncytial embryo expressing Ubq–Ana3-GFP imaged by time-lapse confocal microscopy. The video starts as the centrioles are separating in telophase and progresses until the following telophase, showing that Ana3-GFP localizes to centrosomes throughout the cell cycle. We imaged eight embryos, and in no case did we observe centriole overduplication caused by Ana3 overexpression. Frames were taken every 10 s for 12.5 min and are displayed at 10 frames/s.
