Video 1.

Invadopodium precursor formation is temporally distinct from matrix degradation. A 350-min time-lapse video of a GFP-actin MTLn3 cell (left) plated on Alexa 568-FN (right) showing that there is significant lag time (60 min) from the formation of invadopodium precursors to the degradation of FN matrix. Images were acquired every 2 min and movie speed is 10 frames/second.
