Arg-YFP and cortactin-RFP colocalize to membrane protrusions in response to adhesion to fibronectin. Time-lapse video of a representative arg−/− fibroblast expressing Arg-YFP and cortactin-RFP spreading on a glass coverslip coated with 10 µg/ml fibronectin. Phase-contrast (left), YFP channel (middle), and RFP channel (right) images are shown. Selected individual frames are displayed in Fig. 1. Images were collected every 30 s for a period of 11 min. Display rate, 10 frames/s.
