Rac1 accumulates in the nucleus before mitosis (G2) and is excluded afterward (G1). PAE cells stably expressing GFP-Rac1 at levels below endogenous Rac1 were examined by time-lapse confocal microscopy over one division cycle. Time stamp indicates time from onset of image acquisition.
