Random motility of FAK−/− MEFs on fibronectin. Cells were plated onto 1-µg/ml FN–coated glass slides with 10% FBS and maintained at 37°C. Phase-contrast images at 20× were obtained every 5 min and 105 sequential images (8 h and 45 min) are shown at 15 frames per second.
