GFP–CLIP-170 expression in HeLa cells treated with 10 nM taxol. HeLa cells stably expressing GFP–CLIP-170 were analyzed using fluorescence microscopy. Cells were maintained in normal culture medium at 37°C. Images were acquired 1 h after the application of 10 nM taxol (one frame per second). Notice the erratic behavior of GFP–CLIP-170. Instead of bright, cometlike dashes, a dotted pattern is observed.
