Rounded blebbing movement is provoked by p53 deficiency in 3D matrix. Corresponds to Fig. 1 B. DIC analysis of different cell modes of motility of MEFs within the 3D Matrigel network. The first 10 images show the overlaying of GFP fluorescence and DIC to enable the identification of transfected cells. MEFs were transfected with p53 H273. Expression of the GFP-tagged p53 H273 mutant converts the elongated morphology of MEFs to a marked spherical and flexible one associated with highly dynamic membrane blebs.
