Time-lapse fluorescence live cell imaging of GFP-LacI molecules bound to the procyclin chromosomal site in the procyclic form under active transcriptional conditions. Time-lapse fluorescence microscopy was performed, with images acquired every 7 s over a total of 5.7 min to track the position of the GFP-LacI-tagged procyclin chromosomal site in vivo. A stable position of the procyclin locus in the nucleolar periphery is observed.
