Without stimuli, fluorescence recovery of Cav1-GFP in bleached caveosome is slow. A portion of a caveosome in an untreated CV-1 cell expressing Cav1-GFP was bleached, and the recovery was recorded every 6 s for 6 min using confocal microscopy as in Fig. 1 G. During the recording, the grape-like structure of the caveosome becomes apparent, and the Cav1-GFP present in the unbleached portion does not diffuse laterally into the bleached area (QuickTime; 10 Hz; 4.2 MB).
